Picture Day will be Tuesday 10/16 for Toddler, Primary & Childcare students. Order forms available after you receive your proofs.

Open House - 10/10

Please join us for our Open House on Wednesday, 10/10. Chat with the teachers, peek in the classrooms and see just how much your child is doing each & every day. See you there!

Clay Class - Sign Ups!

Clay class sign ups are out, classes will be held on 10/11 & 10/18. Kids LOVE the hands-on FUN they have with clay, don't miss it!

Ballet Class - sign ups!

Don't forget to sign up for Ballet Class at Montessori on Fridays. The kids LOVE this class - and the tutu's are just the cherry on top! Ages 2-3 2-2:45pm. Ages 3-4 3-4pm.

Giants Day! Friday 9/28

This Friday 9/28 we are going to celebrate the Giants going to the playoffs by having a Giants Day!  Wear your Giants gear and we will have hot dogs and ballpark treats.

Healthy Cooking Class - sign ups!

Don't forget to sign up for the Healthy Cooking Class, starting this Wednesday 9/26 from 3-4pm. Kids love this time to get creative with healthy food, and eat it too!

Family Photos (needed!)

Please send some family picture in with your child by Wednesday, we are using them for a beautiful art project that the kids are really enjoying! Pets, friends, grandparents - bring 'em all!

Luau Time!

Tuesday is the last day of summer school! And what a fabulous summer it's been. Don't forget to send your child to school in full Luau wear for a super fun last day!

Red, White + Montessori!

 Our Montessori of Sonoma float was a huge stand-out in the 4th of July line up this year! Thank You to all who helped make it a great time for all!

Join Us in The Parade!

We will be having a float in the 4th of July parade this year to celebrate our 40th anniversary. 

Please join us for the fun! You can walk, ride a bike, use a stroller, or ride on the float.

A few guidelines:

· Participants must be at float location (Vet’s building parking lot on 1st St. East) no later than 9:45am.

· If children are riding a bike a helmet must be worn

· Children must be accompanied by a parent .

· Please sign up at the front desk.  Let us know who will be join us and how will be moving along with the parade; walking, riding your bike or riding on the float.

Last Week Activities!

So much FUN for the little one's this last week of school:
Monday June 4th - Sports Day! Get ready for some action!
Tuesday June 5th - Crazy Hair or Hat Day! Let's see how crazy these kids can look!
Wednesday June 6th - Beach Day! Dress for the beach, and enjoy the last day of school!

Class Visitors!

The toddler class had a few visitors today, two bunnies!

Closed Monday 5/28

Montessori will be closed on Monday, May 28th for the Memorial Day holiday, have a great day with your families! (Fun + easy kid craft project above!)

Summer Snack Fun!

The long days of summer are fast approaching - here's a fun snack idea that you can make with your little helpers!
bbbbb....Banana kabobs!

Use long skewers or toothpicks make a fun fruit kabob with thick, sliced bananas, pineapple chunks, grapes, marshmallows. Brush with orange juice to keep the bananas from turning brown and enjoy! This is a great activity for kids, they can thread the fruit and “paint” the orange juice on the bananas.

Mother's Day Tea

The Primary Class had a Mother's Day Tea, showering the lucky mom's with potted flowers and plenty of love! Happy Mother's Day!

CPR Time!

Our staff participated in their annual CPR training last night! They are all fully certified and ready for anything!

Sunny Day Crafts

Taking the time to sit down and reflect on the beautiful objects from the natural world is really awesome, and easy! If you haven't done it for a while, take the time to sit down with your little one and try to draw or paint what is in front of you.

You will need: nature items, paper & drawing/painting supplies

They decorated, they danced...what a way to start off the beautiful month of May!

{kid activity!} plant your spring greens

It would be wonderful if every child had their own garden or patch of earth in which to grow a plant. As soon as a child can walk they can learn to water a plant. Teach your child how to plant, observe the root system, let them nurture the plant, and finally, use your herbs or veggies for cooking. The kids will LOVE it - enjoy!

Spring has Sprung!

April has finally arrived ~ the budding flowers and sunshine has brought the kids outdoors! We'll be celebrating Earth Day (4/22) by planting in the garden the week of 4/23-27.
